Studying a wide range of biological sciences: botany, entomology, microbiology, chemistry (organic, nonorganic, physicoloid, agrochemistry), plant growing, genetics, breeding, etc. The essence of agronomy is to study the processes and phenomena that occur during the cultivation of plants. The main objective of the agronomist is to obtain a high quality crop of plant products, which can then be used for different purposes: new seed material, or processing for food or animal feed. The process of training is full of practical classes in the conditions of production, field of research, work with laboratory equipment (microscopes, reagents, chromatographs, etc.) with plants’ herbarium and material.
